Catchup on the Summer of 2024.

So in brief

And in more detail

So my desktop machine would only run Windows 10 and was really slow to the plan was to rebuild using as much of my existing hardware as possible. The project went well and I finished up with a stunning machine. The build is:


Garden is never finished during the Summer. Lots of pruning tidying mowing etc. I also managed to paint the Summer House and strip the painted wood inside and varnish that. This years produce: potatoes, good; runner beans, good; broad beans, ok; courgettes, good; raspberries, poor; tomatoes, poor; blackberries, excellent.

Oh, nearly forgot also the re-furb of the weather vane.

This started as a project for my daughter-inlaw. She had made a visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and seen en exhibition by Yukihiro Akama. Following is an example of his work.An example of his work

Finally for today the ‘More Menu’

Well this definately deserves its own project section see here for details , but in short I wanted to open up navigation to more content and provide links to other topics which did not fit the current navigaion. Hence the ‘more’ menu. Providing this turned out to be quite a task! Popover to the links to read why. Much change here in November 2024.
