Marketing The 'Veil Of Echoes'

The Veil of Echoes is out now!

The Veil of Echoes - a blend of climate fiction, consciousness exploration, and a touch of mystery. The story follows a group of characters navigating a world on the brink of ecological collapse, while also delving into the mysteries of human consciousness and the interconnectedness of all things.

The book is out, but now how do I find readers? I have been doing a lot of work on investigating marketing and promotion, this means investing time and resources into reaching potential readers. Unfortunately, the book market is very crowded, so it can be difficult to get noticed. Unfortunately I am not a great fan of social media deleting my Twitter account after EM took over having previously deleted my Facebook account after the Cambridge Analytica scandal, so its free book promotions and book reviews.


I plan on reaching out to bloggers and influencers in the climate fiction and consciousness exploration communities to help spread the word about the book. I have a Bluesky account and Pinterest so perhaps its time to start using them?

Finally, I have been working on the next book in the series, which is currently untitled. I am hoping to have it out by the end of the year, but we will see how it goes. I am really excited about this next book, as it will continue to explore the themes of climate fiction and consciousness exploration, while also introducing new characters and plotlines.

The image, by the way, is a reference for one of the characters in the next book. This is a first visualisation of Bronwyn-Aela, a descendent of Rae and Sera, the characters from the previous book whose escape from Doggerland pre the Storegga colapse takes us eventually to Inis Mon North Wales and the Druids.

Moving on, I have come across quite a few articles I want to follow up on hoping to work them into the next book. The TOBA event bringing humanity to the brink is one. Then we have the interesting updates regarding my DNA linking to the Celts living in Dorset many centuries ago. More, always more on the topic of the consciousness.

That’s it for now. This post was mainly to keep the site up to date making sure updates worked. Next job going back to the FossilGeo App and sorting the bugs stopping me getting this moving on to getting the testing needed for the Google Play Store sorted.
