What have I been doing

I realise this site, its creation and realisation is for my own benefit / amusement but still I need to keep the site up to date with the progress and problems. You never know someone else might just read this 🫤

Its summer now

Yup, I know you know, but summer to me means less development time and more time in the garden. And boy is it busy out there at the moment. Tomatoes, beans, soft fruit, potatoes, figs you name it and it is growing in my pocket handkerchief sized garden. All needing constant attention.

Bonsai

Yes Bonsai on the go after watching a youtube about Kokedama I decided this is a project - growing the moss for the moss ball at the moment.

And while searching for this I hit upon a bonsai grower demonstrating how to create a Bonsai forest, this is at the stage of growing some saplings.

Projects

Well I don’t know what to say here… my main project is clearly this site, and enhancements such as the tag cloud with animation; implementing GSAP split text and animating the tags. Plus bugs and using AI to improve my SEO. Which by the way I must say I am impressed with the AI edits in Visual Studio Code are just getting better and better.

Other IT related issues:

• The laptop battery failed and needed replacing
• After this Windows update failed and in the end I had to do a clean install.

This time of year there are non IT related projects but small and hardly worth documenting. Only one of any size is I am part way through building a very basic CNC machine using my router. May or may not ever get finished.

On the horizon

• Linking between posts
• Fix the welcome button on the home page
• A bit of improvement in the image handling, responsive etc
• Sometime getting round to authorisation
